Happy Monday nerds!! Though I’m not entirely thrilled about having to “spring ahead” this past weekend, I am beyond excited to get back to blogging!
Since my last post in early February, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my geeky musings. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been blogging for nearly six years, mostly because I don’t have a ton to show for it. While that’s ultimately okay (I’m predominantly doing this for fun), I’d still like to be more consistent with my posting schedule, clean up the site, be more active on social media, etc.
Even though it’s the middle of March, I’m thinking about my various “new year’s” resolutions, for once taking my time to do things right. Most of the blog-related items will have to wait until I don’t have a number of freelance projects on my plate, but for now I have decided to make some big changes to my posting schedule!
Starting today, I’ll be following a two-week rotation. Week One, I’ll post new content on Mondays and Wednesdays. “Nerd Alerts” will now appear on Fridays unless there is something special, say Friday the 13th, that I want to highlight instead. Week Two, posts will be published on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If you’re a longtime reader, you’ll likely recognize this as a hybrid of the two posting schedules I have previously used. My hope is that this alternating system will help me balance everything out and find a rhythm I can actually stick with! (Given my current work schedules, I won’t be committing to a specific post time just yet, but that is a goal for the future!) So, *fingers crossed*!
In the meantime, I hope you all had a great day and I will see you back here on Wednesday!
