With most everyone in my office suffering from some sort of illness, I knew it was only a matter of time until I came down with whatever plague was circulating in the air above my cube. Sure enough, Monday night, I felt a familiar tickle in the back of my throat and now I’m dealing with full-blown sinus stuffies. Continue reading “GeekyNerdy Cure-All: Garlic Orzo Soup”
Meet GeekyNerdyGirl
As the readership of my humble little blog has started to pick up (you like me, you really like me!), I noticed that many of you were checking out my “About” page. While I think everything I included on that page is good for now – though a photo will be forthcoming – I thought I’d pull back the curtain a little more in this post so you guys have a better sense of whom I am and what makes me tick! 2013: Year in Review
After starting to get ready for the end of this year at the beginning of December, I’m having a hard time believing it is already New Year’s Eve! Being off for the holidays has completely messed up my schedule and I keep thinking I have one more day to the year. But I don’t, and as with everyone else, the impending end of 2013 has me reflecting on everything that has happened in the last 12 months. Continue reading “2013: Year in Review”
